  • Some eat Fish, some eat Frogs and other Amphibians, some eat Underwater Plants, and some eat Grass.

• Migration patterns/what types of birds are in Chicago and when?

  • Canada Geese migrate from Canada to America for the summer, then go back in winter.

• What are some common bird behaviors?

  • A common one is Preening, which is grooming itself.

  • Locomotion, which is flying, swimming, or walking.

  • Resting is common also.

• What is the variation in bird calls?

  • Geese have a honking like call.

  • Great Blue Herons have a deep croaking sound when they vocalize.
